RFC 2795: Infinite Monkey Protocol Suite (IMPS)

So...if infinite monkeys were typing on infinite typewriters, would they really reproduce the complete works of Shakespeare? Either way, a protocol standard is created to handle such an event:

I love when geeks are having fun (actually phun shall be more appropriate). My favourite RFC is still 3514 - The Evil Bit...

Obviously it's always worth to check the date of the RFC...

Hi everyone,

I am new to the Cisco and the Networking world. I graduated from a technical high school of 3 years which thought Electronics and I also have a under-graduation degree in Telecommunication.. I am from Turkey and after I graduated I left my country and went UK to learn English and stayed there longer than I should have if the aim was just to learn English (5 years)...And as a matter of fact I have been far away from whole the things I have learned back in the school...Now I moved to Spain / Barcelona and having a whole year off and want to get back where I left off the IT. So after a little research I decided to take the Cisco Certification path and successfully passed my CCENT now preparing for ICND2...now you know the story my question is I AM 26yo and I am wondering if I am late to get into IT...If not after I gain the CCNA, what certification do you recommend?..I know this is quite a personal question but I'll really appreciate if anyone could help...

Thanks

Regarding your statement reproduced here:

"So...if infinite monkeys were typing on infinite typewriters, would they really reproduce the complete works of Shakespeare?"

The answer is "no." Because of the laws of entropy, the way it would be is although you had, say, a thousand monkeys typing on a thousand typewriters, trying to reproduce the works of Shakespeare, you would also have a thousand monkeys over to the side, tearing up all their work as fast as they typed it - leaving you with nothing to show for their work.

Everything runs down and falls apart, including "monkey-works" (hmm - could be the name of a software program...)
