CCIE Voice...Let the Adventure Begin

Well, my next CCIE R&S renewal date is coming up in May, so I've decided to start my trek through the CCIE Voice. For now, I'll be focusing on the CCIE Voice Written to meet the immediate need of not allowing my CCIE to expire. Maybe I'll look at the lab exam after that... Although, I didn't have any kids when I got my CCIE R&S...this may take a little longer...

So - here's what I'm finding for CCIE Voice study (not much):

CCIE Voice Exam Quick Reference Sheets (Cisco Press)

CCIE Voice Book List (Cisco)

CCIE Voice Written Exam Blueprint (Cisco)

CCIE Voice Ask-the-Expert Forum (Cisco)

"How to Pass the CCIE Voice Written" (Network World)

Cisco IPCC Express Edition SRND (Cisco)

Cisco CME SRND (Cisco)

This list will grow as I find more stuff, but this should be a good start. If you have any experience / things to add - please do! I'll add them to the list as they come in.

PS - Any braindump comments will be deleted, so please don't waste your time - thanks!

Well, CCIE Voice written shoudn't be much of a deal to you with so many years of experience.
I hear the lab is pretty hard but again shouldnt been too hard for you. IE has lots of good materials for preparation.

Btw, Im heading to RTP for CCIE SP Lab on 10 July, Brussels is full booked for 2009 for SP, crazy ha?

My understanding was that it's not possible to brain dump a CCIE written? I thought that was why it is considered harder proof of genuine knowledge then CC*A/CC*P certs?

Good luck!

I just did my security recert and it was quite easy. Always nice to get them out of the way though. I originally passed in 2001.

Jeremy will you be sitting ccie v3? I wish CBT Nuggets have labs for ccvp. Any tips on labs for CCVP?

Thanks

For the CCIE Voice Written and the lab, which version of CallManager do they focus on? The Windows or the Linux versions? I'm guessing either way it shouldn't matter too much, though just curious.

Thanks,
Ryan
