Free IP SLA Monitor from Solarwinds
Just found this "news" in my Junk Email folder (sometimes you find gold in there!). Has anyone had a chance to try this Free IP SLA Monitor from Solarwinds? Looks interesting, but I'm worried about installing yet another cool-sounding-free-tool that runs for 5 minutes then explodes in order to convince me to buy a multimillion dollar product.

""""Hello Jeremy, it's Jeremy. I am glad cisco has made it a bit more tough for ccna. It's a good thing!!!
I have looked around for quite a while and talked to many people. A few things people have been having problems with is... Figuring out what to buy for CCNA... equipment.. and how to hook it up.. Now I have a general idea on how to hook everything up, but what about all the add on cards and whatnot.
I still am looking for a list of stuff to get... I get way to excited and just start buying stuff... I am contemplating on buying an ASA5505.. I just got a Cisco 3640 and a 3550 and.. a 851. I am still trying to figure out what to add to this. I will be using your CCENT videos and CCNA ones as well... Work gets them for me... I would love if you could help out with this... Maybe post a good blog on it. My offer to you is... I am a unix geek, so as I herd in the video's you posted, you are a windows user.. If you ever need any help with any of your Unix stuff, feel free to ask.
If you could shoot me an email back, that would be great. The email that's attached is a disposable address, it will forward email sent to that address to my real address for 30 days, then it gets trashed. But by then, most people have my regular one. "Security reasons".. dont need any porn in the inbox.
But I am super excited to learn all this cisco stuff and networking stuff. It keeps me up all night reading and learning!!!
Your books are great too. So thank you from a students perspective, for creating such a good video series, and good books and everything else. Its great to see someone so excited and in love with what they do.
Thanks

Hi there!
I tried and I wrote a how to on my blog at: http://www.firstdigest.com/2009/02/how-to-monitor-ip-sla-with-free-tools/ . It's actually excellent tool to use by the idea of plug-and-go and the price make it really a good deal.

I'm the kind of hombre who passions to taste unprecedented stuff. Right now I am fabricating my personal photovoltaic panels. I am managing it all alone without the aid of my staff. I am utilizing the net as the only way to acheive that. I discovered a really awesome website that explains how to make photovoltaic panels and so on. The place explains all the steps involved in solar panel construction.
I am not really sure about how precise the data given there is. If some experts over here who had experience with these works can have a see and give your feedback in the thread it will be awesome and I'd really appreciate it, cauze I extremely take an interest in solar panel construction.
Tnx for reading this. U people rock.
