Geez...I thought I was bad...
I was doing some looking around at Internetwork Expert and came across some of Scott Morris' material (which looks really good from the samples!). Being naturally curious, I googled his name and found a Network World article describing his home lab...Now THAT is nice! Insane...but NICE!
What's funnier was that in reading more of his biography, he used to run a BBS system I regularly used (The Assassin's Guild). Ha! Small world.

Since you have a Cisco blog, I would have figured you'd seen this a long time ago considering he's a popular CCIE. ;)

Most of the comments from the NetworkWorld are ridiculous , about this lab being outdated and all. Most are probably retarded noobs that have no life but to spend their time criticizing ones success.
These lab is an immense accomplishment , it may not be worth 2.5mil but its still can be used for the latest technologies , the guy probably makes well over six figures to have had to build it up to this level.
JC wondering if you could share you labs with us :-D..

Here's a better link to the same thing on Scott's site, but without all the stupid comments attached :)

I also would have figured you'd seen this a long time ago, this lab is famous... Shane Edelman have a very nice lab too : http://e-shane.com/lab/lab_pictures.htm The killer detail : everything is labeled.

Geez...I was going to post my lab, but after seeing those two, I feel like I'm not worthy. I have Cisco "lab envy" :).
I decided (with the subtle assistance of my wife) to break down my racks and go with a shelf system I got from Costco for 50 bucks. It's strong enough to hold all my Cisco gear (stacked, not racked) and provide a space for a standing terminal and IP Phones. Here in AZ, we don't have basements (gasp at the thought)...so my lab run time diminishes in a huge way in the summer since the rack directly affects my office temp...it got to 109 degrees today (outside...although it feels that way in here)...ugh. I've got to move somewhere cool with a basement.

All I can say about this is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about overkill, I bet the owner of this lab could operate as a small to medium sized ISP with all of this equipment.
