Burn Vista - Long Live Windows XP!!!
A little off-topic, but I found this HILARIOUS: Infoworld magazine created a petition to Save Windows XP. Apparently, Microsoft will stop selling Windows XP over the shelf (for people building their own PCs) on June 30th. InfoWorld magazine started a "Save Windows XP" petition that now has over 100,000 signatures (and growing).
Always a mark of a good operating system...when hundreds of thousands of people are begging you not to stop making the previous version.

I doubt Microsoft would even care about this petition...

What's the point in this small effort......Burn WINDOWS, long live SUSE! is what it should be.
Micro$oft products are lame, they're like the definition of lame and they always will be.

I won't jump on the bashing Windows bandwagon, but is it true to say?
"Always a mark of a good operating system...when hundreds of thousands of people are begging you not to stop making the previous version."
I think this is more of a reflection on HOW BAD the new version is, verus HOW GOOD the old versus was.

They have a lot to work out before they begin to pull the plug on XP. Vista is a mess now and service pack 1 that they are rolling out doesn't really help clean up a lot of the problems. Its more for there benifit.

Long live Xp! Still The Best OS!

Agreed, i have Windows 7 installed, but yeah i'd like to still keep XP in my laptop and PC. Yeah it's still one of the best Microsoft OS indeed. As long as Microsoft (till 2014, security/primary updates only though), OEM, third parties, and especially IT communities support XP, there is no any (strong) reason to upgrade, at least for now or 2-3 years forward maybe i see (till 2014 or even more). Sorry just MTC here, regards. :) Again, long live XP!
