The Ultimate on the Road Cisco Management - Apple iPhone

iphone.jpg

I can't stop...just when I thought, "alright, it's time to stop being such a geek and get back into family life..." I get an Apple iPhone. What was I thinking?!? This is hours of endless addictive fun. The Apple iPhone uses a smaller-version of the full Apple operating system based on Free-BSD. Once you "unlock" the iPhone (the industry lingo is "Jailbreaking your Phone"), you can install a plethora...I mean HUNDREDS of useful utilities on it. I thought I'd share a picture of the latest one (click the thumbnail - I dare ya). THAT'S RIGHT! It's an Apple iPhone accessing a remote Cisco ASA firewall using OpenSSH!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! THaT iS SoOOoO awESoME! Who the heck needs bathroom reading anymore?!?

Woa...too much info there...sorry.

Haha, I have to agree that that is pretty damn awesome. Who'd have thought that something so pretty could be so useful at the same time :)

Unfortunately with the launch of the UK version of the iPhone today (Nov 9th) comes the release of firmware version 1.1.2. This "breaks" the jailbreak patching up the vulnerability in safari that allowed a way in. With the regularity of the updates and the risk of bricking the phone I'm holding off until either someone comes up with a decent which lasts more than a week or until apple decide to lighten up on their lock-down principles.

Anything which introduces more working flexibility though and less time needed in the office can only be good though.

Holá,
Kathy Fiedler (Account Manager Cisco Systems Peru Lima) stored child porn on her business and private computer. Her manager know it and the peruvian police authorities investigating.
As far as I know every Cisco partner in Peru received porn pictures about Kathy. She should involved in a lot of affairs.
First, the tax problem in Brazil and now this in Peru. I am not sure if their manager can lead their company.
I checked her mail (kfiedler@cisco.com) and it is still active. Wow, great, thats business.

Know this is well late on this one (I just found your blog the other day via the "20 best Cisco sites" on something - can't remember now), but best way to Jailbreak a iPhone is with:

Instead of struggling with the touch screen on the iPhone, use your laptop:
