I'm Linking Up!
I can't tell you how encouraging the interest in this site has been to me. I started the CiscoBlog primarily as a storage space for my "cool tips" and configs so I can remember them all when I teach Cisco classes. I hadn't actually planned on getting any real traffic, but thanks to the power of the Google bots, here we are. One thing that has really surprised me is the number of folks who have a quasi-similar website with some REALLY good stuff (I love Aaron Paxon's latest post on the AS5350). So, the time has come...
I'd like to add a "Blogroll" of sorts to the website over the next couple weeks: a list of links to other related sites. The problem is, I've lost track of them all. If you have a relavant site you'd like to have linked up from here, tack on a comment to this post including the following:
I'll follow up in a couple weeks and create the list of links for all the relavant sites.

My life, but Cisco related it's mainly voice. I'm going to add a networking/cisco tag so it'll be easy to ignore all my other crap.

Hi JC,
I have been looking at your site for quite some time now and I quite enjoy finding out this really great nuggets of info you post now and then (my favorite was the slides with NBAR).
I'm a Network Engineering Technology grad out of Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Alberta Canada. CCIEBlog.net is going to my blog of me doing my CCNA, CCNP and then starting studying for my CCIE.
Nothing is there now, but my site design should be done soon in the near future.
Anyway, could you please fire off an e-mail to me, I need to talk to you about www.ciscoblog.net, when registering CCIEblog.net I first (by accident) registered ciscoblog.net. I would like to give you that domain name for the price of registration.

This is in regards to links. If you are new with 'Nix flavors a pretty cool site to check out is:
http://freshmeat.net
I started as a linux guy back in '99 and found Cisco...Kinda like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel;) Anyways I still had maintain plenty of "Nix stuff over the years and this has always been a lifesaver for new things to try, build, emulate. Anything opensource your looking for to try and build. Usually direct links with sourceforge but a handy link it is.

I started using this site about 4-5 years ago. Great site! It is mostly focused on the CISSP track but as I started to find out it helps to have a lot of Cisco knowledge. Check it out, could take days to dig through it all. My plug for Clement.
